Classical Dressage
Training & instruction
A correct and effective rider position in Dressage forms the foundation for clear communication with your horse. Developing a deep seat, a relaxed yet upright posture, independent hands and legs, and maintaining balance and symmetry are essential components.

Toi Trent specializes in dressage training with an emphasis on rider position and effectiveness through knowledge of the classical principles of riding Dressage and developing the equine athletes.
Develop Your Riding Mechanics Mastery
Mastering dressage riding mechanics is a journey of continuous learning and refining both the rider's and the horse's abilities. Dressage emphasizes precision, balance, and harmony between horse and rider.
By combining the elements of Classical Dressage —consistent practice, a deep understanding of horse biomechanics, and refining your aids—you’ll develop the mastery needed for dressage riding mechanics.
Toi guides riders toward achieving their goals, whether they involve mastering new dressage movements, preparing for competition, or simply enhancing the partnership with their horse.

In classical dressage, the rider's position is crucial for achieving balance, communication, and harmony with the horse. Proper alignment, posture, and balance allow the rider to give subtle and effective aids while staying centered and stable, which in turn helps the horse move with suppleness and precision. Toi's teaching methods allow the horse and rider to develop true harmony, to refine and develop a solid riding style.
Regular practice, self-awareness, and feedback from a trainer will help you refine your position over time. Mastering your position allows the horse to move more freely and express its full potential in dressage movements. Toi loves to work with riders one-on-one in their own home environment or she can teach online using a Pivo system.
Mastering classical dressage movements requires patience, precise communication, and a strong partnership with your horse. Developing these movements progressively, with an emphasis on the dressage training scale, will result in harmony, balance, and elegance that define classical dressage at its finest.
