Training with Toi

Training Options

Toi Trent offers a variety of training options to accommodate different learning preferences and needs. Riders can benefit from one-on-one sessions for personalized, hands-on instruction tailored to their individual goals and challenges at their own farm, or at Quintynne Hill in Aiken. For those who prefer remote learning or are located farther away, Toi provides online coaching sessions via Pivo video that deliver valuable feedback and guidance through virtual platforms.

Additionally, Toi conducts traveling clinics, bringing her expertise to different locations to work with groups of riders. These clinics offer a unique opportunity for participants to immerse themselves in classical dressage training, receiving in-depth instruction on rider position, horse development, and the principles of dressage. Each training format is designed to ensure that riders, regardless of their location, can access high-quality dressage education and continue their equestrian journey.

Toi spends most of the year at her farm in Aiken, South Carolina and winters in Wellington, Florida. Private lessons are $75.

Dressage for Everyone

Toi Trent works closely with each rider to set individualized goals that align with their aspirations and their horse’s capabilities. She believes in creating a training program that not only addresses the rider’s objectives but also takes into account the unique strengths and limitations of the horse. By customizing the training plan, she ensures a balanced approach that encourages steady progress and development for both the rider and the horse.

This tailored methodology helps riders reach milestones at a pace that suits them while prioritizing the horse’s well-being. Through ongoing assessment and adjustments to the training program, Toi guides riders toward achieving their goals, whether they involve mastering new dressage movements, preparing for competition, or simply enhancing the partnership with their horse.
